When I was in high school, I was always observing various styles (I still do). Eyes are probably what fascinated me the most since "eyes are a window to the soul" or some crap like that. Anyway, to help develop my style, I would make note, or in this case, make....draw....of the various kinds of eyes I saw. At this moment, all that I was really looking at were animu eyes.
What's funny is that though growing up loving animu, I don't care for it anymore. I guess you can say I don't like it anymore. Yet, when I draw, I still have my "anime habits". Old habits do certainly die hard!
If you'd like to use this "cheat sheet" as a reference for making eyes or something, feel free. I'm definitely not going to use it
Very true. That's why I've been shying away from the anime I've grew up with. I've come across new influences and at the same time, anime/manga just doesn't interest me anymore. I guess I feel as if "everything's been done". Like you said, I want to try need things.
*slowly raises her hand* ...I do the same thing XD In like, notebook margins and stuff >.<; I'm pretty sure my notes for school are half notes, half doodles.
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I'm not interested in watching TV on my phone the same way I'm not interested in taking a shit in my tumble dryer.
(I SWEAR, it looks like he's humping Jigglypuff or SOMEONE.)

I always thought he was the one getting humped. But I now think it's a three-way.

"Let's eat grandpa!" vs. "Let's eat, Grandpa!"
Proper grammar saves lives.
